After six days of racing in the French speaking part of Switzerland, Lotto Soudal rider Steff Cras finished eleventh on the general classification of the Tour de Romandie. The 26-year-old delivered a consistent performance in the decisive road stages. That way, Cras started the closing mountain time trial towards Zinal in tenth place overall. With a fifteenth place in the test against the clock, 1’52” from the stage ánd overall winner Vlasov, Cras eventually dropped one place on GC, which meant the Lotto Soudal rider eventually finished eleventh on the general classification of the Tour de Romandie.

Despite the ambition of finishing inside the top ten, Steff Cras is looking back to his participation at the Tour de Romandie with satisfaction. The past week of racing has been really nice. Everything went quite smooth and the team did a great job to support and protect me. The final two days it was up to me to get as close on GC as possible. Beforehand, I hoped for a top ten result but I’m happy with this eleventh spot. I gave it my all in the time trial and can look back on the Tour de Romandie with great satisfaction. Onto the next races!”, concludes Steff Cras.
